Region 3 Committees

Committees are formed from within the Regional Representatives at each Assembly.  Much of the work carried on at Assembly is done by committees,  which also continue their efforts between assemblies.

Bylaws

Reviews and revises the Region 3 By-laws and Policy Manual as needed.

Public Information / Professional Outreach

Helps Intergroups with strategies and materials to carry the OA message through the public media to all, including hospitals, institutions, health professionals and the military

Twelfth Step Within

Develops materials and programs for outreach to OA members in relapse.

Ways and Means/Finance

The purpose of the Ways and Means/Finance Committee is the following:

1. Assist the Region 3 Treasurer in the preparation and implementation of the annual
fiscal year Region 3 budget.
2. Conduct a biannual audit prior to the Spring and Fall Region 3 Assembly to assure
funds collected and disbursed are accurately accounted for according to the current fiscal
year budget.
3. Discuss and determine the amount of money to be awarded to Region 3 Groups and
Intergroups who have completed a Region 3 Grant Funding application.
4. Promote within Region 3 the various Funding and Grant opportunities to Groups and
Intergroups.
5. Implement fund raising efforts as needed by Region 3.
